Project story
- The starting point
- Alongside daily tasks, families should be able to see longer-term goals and progress.
- The approach
- Plus extends Sternensammler with medals, a parent report, certificates and shared goals.
- My work on it
- The extended edition from the shared app code, with an optional evening reminder and QR transfer of a backup.
The project in detail
The extended edition of the free Sternensammler app: buy once and keep it – no subscription, no in-app purchases and no ads. Plus adds the weekly chest with coins, medals with their own celebrations, costumes for your animal, a parent report, a certificate for every milestone, savings and family goals, tasks with times and weekly goals, separate parent accesses and more animals.
Everything stays on the device here too. Camera access is only requested when scanning a backup QR code from another phone. Notifications are only requested when parents enable the optional evening reminder; it is created on the device, without a server.
Which edition suits your family?
Both share the same idea. Plus adds more features for your family.
